Congratulations to Liz and Drew!! who renewed their vows at a beautiful ceremony with family at the STUNNING St Marys Cathedral, San Francisco. I’ve passed this church that resembles a space ship many many times and never been inside until yesterday, absolutely gorgeous church inside and out. Here is a sneak peek of Liz + Drew, again CONGRATULATIONS to you both xo

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my adorable wee niece Mia. I cannot believe she is two already!! On a recent family trip to Disney World (a fabulous christmas gift from my parents) I got to spend time with all my family and my niece and nephews, all four of them. Both my siblings have 2 kiddies, my sister has Adam who is Mia’s big bro, he is 7. My brother has Rachel, who is 5 and she has a 6 month old new brother Ross. All with their own little personalities, it was alot of fun getting to hang out with all of them for 2 weeks. These shots of Mia and Minnie were from our trip. Soooo cute! She even had her minnie dress on, Minnies signature dots must have been at the laundrette
Its amazing how much they change from baby to toddler, you can see for yourself in the pictures.
Mia, I hope you have an AMAZING Birthday Party today with all your little friends and big family.
Lots of love

Cynthia + Charles are my adorable science nerds who are getting married at the San Francisco Exploratorium in August, so exciting!! Family and friends will be able to play in the museum all evening, what a fab wedding reception!! A science project invitation along with flower decor in beakers and test tubes are some cool details planned for their big day, love it!!
We started their session off at the Exploratorium which was awesome!! and then headed over to the Presidio and enjoyed a beautiful ‘windy’ sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. Then we stopped by Gaspares Pizza in the Richmond for some treats yum!! Thank you so much for dinner!!
Cynthias hair and make up was done for our session by the super talented ladies at Wow Pretty

Just yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Alex Martins beautiful wedding day at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda in Soquel. Words cannot express how much I adored photographing this couple, their day was just perfect. Alex had his family from Brazil make the journey for this special day, it was filled with lots of love, amazing energy and good times. Their beautiful ceremony conducted by two close friends made it even more special as guests were invited to pour sand from two beaches, one of them being Ocean Beach where the couple first met and surf everyday. This symbolized the two becoming one, super cute huh!! I love the little details Sarah and Alex are well respected members of the surf community out at Ocean Beach and I have become a surfing groupie after watching Alex surf Mavericks earlier this year. Absolutely A-MAZING!! The party kicked off with Sarah and Alex having their first dance, then a super relaxed buffet style dinner which was delicious! followed by some toasts, cake cutting and lots of dancing. Of course, I sneaked them out for some fun portraits inbetween the festivities. It was really difficult to pick some sneak peeks, but I wanted to share some images before these guys headed off on their amazing honeymoon to New Zealand this week. I also need to blog their super cute engagement session too, watch this space!!! Big thanks to Sarahs mom Claire for all the fabulous planning and to Jeanne for assisting me with the family pictures, you ladies were fantastic!! xo
Big thanks to the fabulous Beth for 2nd shooting with me yesterday, good times
Congratulations Sarah + Alex!!

The lovely Merlinda and Carlos who I had the pleasure of photographing in October have been featured in the fabulous Style Unveiled San Francisco the ultimate wedding site for wedding trends, real weddings and general bride to be fabulousness if you didnt already know

Check out the kind words from Merlinda + Carlos below and be sure and check out the full feature HERE
“My coworker actually recommended her photographer but she was unavailable. She in turn recommended us to our photographer Kirsty Edwards from Kirsty Edwards Photography. It was fate. We met with her and Jake one sunny afternoon in the city. An instant connection formed, we felt so at ease with Kirsty as we shared details about our lives and our wedding with her. It was like meeting an old friend. When it came down to choosing our photographer we chose the person we felt most comfortable with, someone who felt more like a friend than a stranger we were letting into our lives to capture our most intimate wedding experience. Not only did her outgoing personality capture us but her work speaks for itself. Her images are soft, candid, and touching, all the qualities we wanted for our wedding album. On our wedding day, she was outstanding in handling our big families, she kept us together and organized and captured each unforgettable moment. She along with her talented team took thousands of images and we were not disappointed in her hard work. Her pictures really take you in as if you’re a part of that special moment.”

Thank you so much, Merlinda and Carlos for not only the kind words but being such amazing clients and new found friends

What a ludicrously fun and madcap afternoon. Stephanie and I might have brought the costume box vomitus (and our happy playful mugs), but Kirsty, you phenomenally orchestrated the ballet that ignited our lunacy, passion, playfulness, laughter and spirit. In sniffing out a path we had never explored before on our previous trips to Costanoa, having the eye to usher us into briar patches concealing pots of photographic gold, and chasing the light all over the ranch until the sliver of a waxing moon(not waning as confirmed by tonight’s moon) shot the sensor, subjects and shooter packing for the high ground of a just-in-time Peruvian meal on the coast…Kirsty brought out our inner A Game, and evidenced her own! Thank you so much.
-If one thing’s for certain, no one’s singing the Hustler Blues around here…Bring it!
my favorite shot is that hustler snuggling that hustelee in the sunlight. i just want to BE that ruffled shirt…
I just love all the hats. What a fun shoot. The most romantic photo has to be the last one with the trees and sunset behind, breathtaking.
oh my gosh!!!! these are great! what a great couple and how fun.
