HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my adorable wee niece Mia. I cannot believe she is two already!! On a recent family trip to Disney World (a fabulous christmas gift from my parents) I got to spend time with all my family and my niece and nephews, all four of them. Both my siblings have 2 kiddies, my sister has Adam who is Mia’s big bro, he is 7. My brother has Rachel, who is 5 and she has a 6 month old new brother Ross. All with their own little personalities, it was alot of fun getting to hang out with all of them for 2 weeks. These shots of Mia and Minnie were from our trip. Soooo cute! She even had her minnie dress on, Minnies signature dots must have been at the laundrette

Its amazing how much they change from baby to toddler, you can see for yourself in the pictures.

Mia, I hope you have an AMAZING Birthday Party today with all your little friends and big family.

Stephanie and Adam are getting married at the beautiful Costanoa Resort & Lodge in the fall and they suggested taking a drive down there for their engagement session which ’squeal’ was a fabulous idea, I could not wait to download their images let alone pick which ones to blog. This was shot yesterday by the way so I really am not exaggerating about my excitement

S + A brought some awesome props along for the session which was a fun visual treat For some reason I cannot get the song-I’m a hustla’- out my head now I was a big fan of the tartan hats which are called ‘just jimmy’ hats in Scotland

I also made friends with the Costanoa resident cats, one a bit camera shy but the other gave me a wicked smile

We finished the evening off at La Costanera, an ocean view Peruvian Restaurant at Montara Beach which I highly recommend treating yourself to, the food was DELICIOUS!!! Thanks guys!!

Cynthia+Charles Engaged|San Francisco Exploratorium Weddings|Kirsty Edwards Photography

Cynthia + Charles are my adorable science nerds who are getting married at the San Francisco Exploratorium in August, so exciting!! Family and friends will be able to play in the museum all evening, what a fab wedding reception!! A science project invitation along with flower decor in beakers and test tubes are some cool details planned for their big day, love it!!

We started their session off at the Exploratorium which was awesome!! and then headed over to the Presidio and enjoyed a beautiful ‘windy’ sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. Then we stopped by Gaspares Pizza in the Richmond for some treats yum!! Thank you so much for dinner!!

This adorable couple decided to have a small intimate wedding with close family at the stunning San Francisco City Hall-followed by another big wedding for family and friends in September, I cant wait! I get to photograph them TWICE!!!Penfans parents travelled all the way from Taiwan and Daniels Family from Germany!! I love City Hall, its such a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony, stunning architecture and the officiants always have such a great sense of humor. After the ceremony, we sneaked off for some around the city portraits then Penfan + Daniel headed off to a yummy dinner with their family and friends. Congratulations Guys!! xo

Just yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Alex Martins beautiful wedding day at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda in Soquel. Words cannot express how much I adored photographing this couple, their day was just perfect. Alex had his family from Brazil make the journey for this special day, it was filled with lots of love, amazing energy and good times. Their beautiful ceremony conducted by two close friends made it even more special as guests were invited to pour sand from two beaches, one of them being Ocean Beach where the couple first met and surf everyday. This symbolized the two becoming one, super cute huh!! I love the little details Sarah and Alex are well respected members of the surf community out at Ocean Beach and I have become a surfing groupie after watching Alex surf Mavericks earlier this year. Absolutely A-MAZING!! The party kicked off with Sarah and Alex having their first dance, then a super relaxed buffet style dinner which was delicious! followed by some toasts, cake cutting and lots of dancing. Of course, I sneaked them out for some fun portraits inbetween the festivities. It was really difficult to pick some sneak peeks, but I wanted to share some images before these guys headed off on their amazing honeymoon to New Zealand this week. I also need to blog their super cute engagement session too, watch this space!!! Big thanks to Sarahs mom Claire for all the fabulous planning and to Jeanne for assisting me with the family pictures, you ladies were fantastic!! xo

Today, I met baby Peyton and I couldn’t wait to share a few of my favorites, a wee sneak peek Isn’t he just adorable?! it was cool to meet his big sister too, she was a lot of fun. I love this one of her mesmerized by the bubbles, very messy sticky bubbles, I might add I should have road tested those first. What a beautiful family of four, dont you think? I think so!!
