Just yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Alex Martins beautiful wedding day at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda in Soquel. Words cannot express how much I adored photographing this couple, their day was just perfect. Alex had his family from Brazil make the journey for this special day, it was filled with lots of love, amazing energy and good times. Their beautiful ceremony conducted by two close friends made it even more special as guests were invited to pour sand from two beaches, one of them being Ocean Beach where the couple first met and surf everyday. This symbolized the two becoming one, super cute huh!! 
I love the little details Sarah and Alex are well respected members of the surf community out at Ocean Beach and I have become a surfing groupie after watching Alex surf Mavericks earlier this year. Absolutely A-MAZING!! The party kicked off with Sarah and Alex having their first dance, then a super relaxed buffet style dinner which was delicious! followed by some toasts, cake cutting and lots of dancing. Of course, I sneaked them out for some fun portraits inbetween the festivities. It was really difficult to pick some sneak peeks, but I wanted to share some images before these guys headed off on their amazing honeymoon to New Zealand this week. I also need to blog their super cute engagement session too, watch this space!!! Big thanks to Sarahs mom Claire for all the fabulous planning and to Jeanne for assisting me with the family pictures, you ladies were fantastic!! xo

Yes, a new and beautiful life begins, I have no doubt you two will be very happy and realize all your “together”dreams, at list it just started. I really appreciate the way you face life and I’m proud to be a little but magic part of it in paradise. The wedding was perfect as I sad by email, beautiful couple, people, pictures, flowers, place and dresses, best friends, good food, dancing, ….. Your parents, the way the look at you, they don’t have to say a word, that expression says every single feeling.
Thank you very much to send me the pictures, I couldn’t be there with my family, but you made me very happy to confirm how special people you are. Congratulations, sorry about my Brazilian English, but I’m have my emotions in 100% charge.
Alex, I don’t have the costume to make mistakes about people, and one more time I was right. When I saw you and Sarah for the first time, it was peaceful and at the same time intense.
