Stephanie and Adam are getting married at the beautiful Costanoa Resort & Lodge in the fall and they suggested taking a drive down there for their engagement session which ‘squeal’ was a fabulous idea, I could not wait to download their images let alone pick which ones to blog. This was shot yesterday by the way so I really am not exaggerating about my excitement

S + A brought some awesome props along for the session which was a fun visual treat For some reason I cannot get the song-I’m a hustla’- out my head now I was a big fan of the tartan hats which are called ‘just jimmy’ hats in Scotland

I also made friends with the Costanoa resident cats, one a bit camera shy but the other gave me a wicked smile

We finished the evening off at La Costanera, an ocean view Peruvian Restaurant at Montara Beach which I highly recommend treating yourself to, the food was DELICIOUS!!! Thanks guys!!

Cynthia+Charles Engaged|San Francisco Exploratorium Weddings|Kirsty Edwards Photography

Cynthia + Charles are my adorable science nerds who are getting married at the San Francisco Exploratorium in August, so exciting!! Family and friends will be able to play in the museum all evening, what a fab wedding reception!! A science project invitation along with flower decor in beakers and test tubes are some cool details planned for their big day, love it!!

We started their session off at the Exploratorium which was awesome!! and then headed over to the Presidio and enjoyed a beautiful ‘windy’ sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. Then we stopped by Gaspares Pizza in the Richmond for some treats yum!! Thank you so much for dinner!!

This adorable couple decided to have a small intimate wedding with close family at the stunning San Francisco City Hall-followed by another big wedding for family and friends in September, I cant wait! I get to photograph them TWICE!!!Penfans parents travelled all the way from Taiwan and Daniels Family from Germany!! I love City Hall, its such a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony, stunning architecture and the officiants always have such a great sense of humor. After the ceremony, we sneaked off for some around the city portraits then Penfan + Daniel headed off to a yummy dinner with their family and friends. Congratulations Guys!! xo

I like to to keep track of wedding trends and am a huge fan of inspirational wedding blogs like Style Me Pretty and Style Unveiled to name just a couple. It is always refreshing to photograph a wedding and see a unique treat for the guests I have never seen done before. Paul and Arlenes Wedding in Scotland was no exception. While most guests will happily fill their glasses at the bar while you take your family pictures, why not entertain them as well? The grooms father arranged for caricaturist Brian Morrison, to sketch each guest during the cocktail hour. He was FANTASTIC!! and what a great wedding favor for the guests to remember your day by, he captured everyone’s features and personalities perfectly. My only requirement for Brian was for him to make me look pretty after an hour shooting portraits. He did a great job, he even gave me a set of new cheeks what a man!! now I just have to get my sweet cheeks to the gym so they live up to my new profile picture

Liana and Will are getting married this September at the fabulous 1 Fort Mason, San Francisco I can’t wait
We scheduled their engagement session early so they can use an image for their Save The Date Cards, love that!! I’m excited to see what image they choose. I have to say, I had a difficult time narrowing down my faves to blog, so many great images. These guys are adorable and extremely photogenic don’t you think! What a beautiful couple. Liana is going to be such a stunning Bride and of course Will, a very handsome groom They also introduced me to a new bridge spot that I had yet to discover which was awesome and definitely good exercise, phew! We definitely earned our pizza and beers afterward, thank you so much for dinner

We also had Potter as an accessory for their session. What a super fun chilled doggie he was too…..and quite the poser!!

Starting the New Year off with a brand spanking new website!! SQUEAL, I am so excited to have found the time over the Christmas Holidays to design a new website, showcase recent work and start the New Year PICTURE PERFECT!!! It was not easy picking and choosing from all the beautiful weddings I have shot over the past couple of years and trying to narrow it down was incredibly difficult. But I made it and here is the result. I am super happy with how it looks, awesome large images, easy navigation and simple clean layout. Not only that, like ‘his and her’ sweaters, I am all matching. Amalia + Mike say ‘I do’

Amalia & Mike got married at the beautiful Claremont Country Club in Oakland. A perfect October afternoon, sun shining surrounded by family and friends. What more could you ask for?! The blue and cream color scheme and the bird decor were the perfect theme for their wedding as they became Mr+Mrs Starbird Amalia looked amazing, her dress was from Clarissa Bridal and the beautiful bridesmaid dresses that I have to add, had pockets!! were from J Crew who doesn’t love a dress with pockets!! super cute! Everyone looked dapper!

Thanks to Beth for coming along and assisting me and capturing that beautiful shot of Amalia’s gorgeous sister + friend witnessing their first kiss

Cheralin+James|San Francisco St Regis Wedding|Kirsty Edwards Photography

Cheralin & James were married June 6th at the stunning St Regis Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Cheralin was such a beautiful Bride! Super cute couple!

We LOVE the St Regis, its such a perfect location for a modern wedding setting, the outdoor patio was the location for the ceremony, followed my cocktail hour and lots of yummy hors d’oeuvres and then a fantastic ballroom reception. Which thanks to the super creative and talented
Nancy Lui Chin and Got Light? looked absolutely STUNNING!!!

We were super excited to see Nancy listed on the vendor list, from the bouquets to the ballroom decor, everything was just beautiful. Looking for a top notch Florist? give Nancy a call, you will not be disappointed.

Such a fun Wedding, with the St Regis having so many great creative backdrops, we did all our creative portraits in and around the hotel. Which was AWESOME!!!

I was excited to see Anton at the wedding, he played a wedding I shot a few weeks back and these guys are awesome. Cocktail and Reception Entertainment by the super talented Anton Schwartz and his talented musicians.

Congratulations Guys, Jake and I had an awesome time with you guys
