This adorable couple decided to have a small intimate wedding with close family at the stunning San Francisco City Hall-followed by another big wedding for family and friends in September, I cant wait! I get to photograph them TWICE!!!Penfans parents travelled all the way from Taiwan and Daniels Family from Germany!! I love City Hall, its such a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony, stunning architecture and the officiants always have such a great sense of humor. After the ceremony, we sneaked off for some around the city portraits then Penfan + Daniel headed off to a yummy dinner with their family and friends. Congratulations Guys!! xo

“My coworker actually recommended her photographer but she was unavailable. She in turn recommended us to our photographer Kirsty Edwards from Kirsty Edwards Photography. It was fate. We met with her and Jake one sunny afternoon in the city. An instant connection formed, we felt so at ease with Kirsty as we shared details about our lives and our wedding with her. It was like meeting an old friend. When it came down to choosing our photographer we chose the person we felt most comfortable with, someone who felt more like a friend than a stranger we were letting into our lives to capture our most intimate wedding experience. I like to to keep track of wedding trends and am a huge fan of inspirational wedding blogs like Style Me Pretty and Style Unveiled to name just a couple. It is always refreshing to photograph a wedding and see a unique treat for the guests I have never seen done before. Paul and Arlenes Wedding in Scotland was no exception. While most guests will happily fill their glasses at the bar while you take your family pictures, why not entertain them as well? The grooms father arranged for caricaturist Brian Morrison, to sketch each guest during the cocktail hour. He was FANTASTIC!! and what a great wedding favor for the guests to remember your day by, he captured everyone’s features and personalities perfectly. My only requirement for Brian was for him to make me look pretty after an hour shooting portraits. He did a great job, he even gave me a set of new cheeks what a man!! now I just have to get my sweet cheeks to the gym so they live up to my new profile picture

Cheralin+James|San Francisco St Regis Wedding|Kirsty Edwards Photography

Cheralin & James were married June 6th at the stunning St Regis Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Cheralin was such a beautiful Bride! Super cute couple!

We LOVE the St Regis, its such a perfect location for a modern wedding setting, the outdoor patio was the location for the ceremony, followed my cocktail hour and lots of yummy hors d’oeuvres and then a fantastic ballroom reception. Which thanks to the super creative and talented
Nancy Lui Chin and Got Light? looked absolutely STUNNING!!!

We were super excited to see Nancy listed on the vendor list, from the bouquets to the ballroom decor, everything was just beautiful. Looking for a top notch Florist? give Nancy a call, you will not be disappointed.

Such a fun Wedding, with the St Regis having so many great creative backdrops, we did all our creative portraits in and around the hotel. Which was AWESOME!!!

I was excited to see Anton at the wedding, he played a wedding I shot a few weeks back and these guys are awesome. Cocktail and Reception Entertainment by the super talented Anton Schwartz and his talented musicians.

Congratulations Guys, Jake and I had an awesome time with you guys
